Woke up at 10, wow, are we finally into normal hours? If we are, it took us 4 weeks to get into the same rhythm as we have at home. Staying up late and sleeping in the mornings. 🙂
We stayed in bed since today we skip breakfast and go directly to The Afternoon Tea at Windsor.
Afternoon tea at Windsor Hotel
At 12 we went to The Hotel Windsor Afternoon Tea. I liked it a lot. We got sparkling wine, tea of our own choice, a lot of sandwiches, scones, cookies, some small specialities, more sandwiches and also coffee was available. And there were no problems what so ever to get everything gluten free. I told our server that we were kind of celebrating Jossans graduation so at the end of the tea time they came with a special plate for Jossan, with a special chocolate cake and they had also written Congratulation on the plate, in chocolate. So very nice!
Nachos and Ceasar lunch with excitement
We had a quick and exiting late lunch today. Just when we were sitting down, eating our lunch, a man came running like a mad man from a distance, then passed just in front of us and then took off, still running fast, into another street. Looked weird. Then we saw a man that came the same way he had come. Looked like a man from a restaurant or a hotel. And then two policemen came and they looked like: Where did he go??? We waved and hollered and showed them the way and they both run after the “mad man”. The two police cars came as well and since there was so much action around this man we really wondered what he had done. It must have been something much more serious than just sneaking away without paying the lunch bill. 😀
We went to the movies, to the Kino cinema at Collins Street, in the evening and watched “The dressmaker” with Kate Winslow. It was kind of a drama comedy and we liked it a lot. Some great humour in that movie.
