The Original Pancake House
Today we headed, once more, for the breakfast at The Original Pancake House. Lots of people today as well, so our theory about the crowd on sundays was completly killed. We just had to bite the sour apple (Swedish expression) and then stand in line for about 30 minutes before getting a table. Then we got a table and THEN we could order. I asked for glutenfree banana pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream. OMG, it was delicious! Mmmmmmmmmmm!! Jossan and Robin had their special Apple Pancake, a huge pancake baked in the owen, filled with cinnamon and apples. Looked delicious but both Jossan and Robin prefer regular pancakes.
We never stop to shop
After breakfast Jossan and I went shopping once again. Felt we were not completely ready. I don’t remeber if I actually bought something, waited to long to blog about this and my memory sucks!! 😦
Great dinner at The Cheese Cake Factory
In the evening it was time for dinner and time for new queues. So many people eat out every day in Chicago. Seem to be too few restaurants in this town since we have to stand in line EVERY time we want to eat! BUT the food at The Cheese Cake Factory is completely worth waiting for! I had the best burger I’ve ever had. Glutenfree American Hamburger. Delicious!!
And I would just have loved to try one of their cheese cakes. They look so tempting..but…they are not for me to eat, unfortunatly! 😦
