Early morning! Quick breakfast! Jörgen checked the oil in the car. It was all dry! 😦 He filled it up with 3 quarters of oil, we jumped into the car and hit the road. 2.5h later we were in Dallas. The landscape around here is much more green compared to all the landscapes we have been passing through earlier. Lot of grass and trees. Nice. The weather is hot though, but we have a bit of a cloudy sky, thank God for that!

Magnolia Hotel in Dallas
Checked in to The Magnolia hotel which will be our home for the next three nights. For the first time on the trip we are living downtown, well, except for Santa Monica of course. Magnolia is a great hotel, nice, quiet, free really fast WiFi (as if we would have checked in to any hotel without free WiFi), breakfast included and guess what, happy hour in the evening giving us wine and beer for free. I do not call that happy hour, it is more like a super happy hour!! 🙂

At 3PM Robin took the car and headed towards Waco. He is going to visit an old friend, Anton, from back when he studied at The University of Stockholm. J & J & me had a lazy evening at the hotel (together with a LOT of Mary Kay women that has invaded the hotel), reading, surfing and drinking Happy Hour wine! 🙂
