Woke up with an even more sore throat. 😦 Had some crackers and brie and then drove the Cadillac to Ed’s Cadillac Workshop, the California Cadillac super specialists!! They will help us with a number of things! Adjust the windows, check the brakes, fix the light etc etc.
We left the car at Ed’s and then we had a coffee at Starbucks and some orange juice. I found a place outside, in the shadow of a big tree, soooo nice. Then we strolled back home, probably a 7 km walk, in very nice surroundings.
On Pico drive we had a drink stop at the hotel where we stayed in around 2004 or something. It had been redesigned since then, I did not recognize anything! But we talked to the bartender and she confirmed that it was the very same hotel that we stayed in loooooong ago.
At 12 o’clock Robin and Jossan came back from Sacramento, where they have spent the last few days at Luke’s place, Robins friend from the University of Stockholm. They hired a car at the air port and went to pick up Jörgen at Ed’s (Jörgen went back to Ed’s after they had done the checkout of the car, to agree upon what should be repaired and what not to repair).
Inn the afternoon we had a late lunch at a seafood restaurant. I took gambas as usual, I just love them. Mmmmmmmmmm.
In the evening we went to the movies. Me and Jossan saw Jersey Boys, old traditions since christmas time in Sydney a few years ago when I got tickets for that very same musical as a christmas gift. 🙂 Robin and Jörgen went to see a SF movie. Anyone surpriced?? No, I didn’t think so. 🙂
When we came out from the movies at around 21.30 the shops were still opened AND we found the shop where Jossan had bought her beautiful cardigan in Australia, Cotton On, so I bought the same. It is so very nice!! 🙂
